About Us

'The Balfour Bullet' is from Sir Graham Balfour School in Stafford, West Midlands. 'The Balfour Bullet' was founded last year and has been in existence for about a year and a half now. Since we started, we have built a car from scratch, upgraded it and test run and competed with it at Darley Moor (as well as run it round the school playground hundreds of times!). As last year was our first year, it took us a while to assemble the car and we didn't generally have much experience but we all built the car as a team and in the end the result wasn't bad.

We bought our car of Greenpower, it was originally called 'The Seagull' before we renamed it as the 'The Balfour Bullet'. Before we could buy it though, we needed sponsorship to pay for it, plus many other expenses. We are very grateful to all those who have supported us so far.

There are approximatly 12 students involved with this project and we have about 2 adults who run it. We meet up about every two weeks or less than that if we can for about an hour and a half to work on buying parts for the car or upgrading the car etc.
